The repair shops are shared between the Department of Molecular Biology, the Department of Structural Biology and the Department of Biological Sciences. At the moment, (July 2009) six people are employed at the premises. The repair shops maintain the equipment of the departments as well as developing and producing new equipment. Instruments are developed and repaired for the use of Molecular Biology and the Department of Biological Sciences as well as for the use in laboratories and field work.
