| Summary of research interests, plans for the stay at the Department, etc.: | Summary of research interests: During her stay at the Department of Biological Sciences, Darja collaborates in the LIFE TREASURE project. Her research is focused on performance of stormwater detention ponds, especially retention and accumulation of nutrients, metals and PAHs in the pond’s sediments and plants. The research carried out at the department represents the main part of her PhD. Besides stormwater detention ponds Darja is interested in performance and development of constructed wetlands for wastewater treatment. | |
